Events
WCA offers exceptional special events, which provide opportunities for networking, education, and strengthening business relationships. WCA offers three golf tournaments annually, a legislative reception, general membership meetings, and monthly membership dinners in conjunction with the WYDOT bid lettings.
Education, Training, and Workforce Development
At the WCA McMurry Training Center, we offer an wide array of training programs to help companies meet their individual training needs. Recruiting, training, and retaining workers at all levels are prime concerns of WCA. Attracting the brightest and best into the workforce is critical. Craft training and apprenticeship programs are just a few of the efforts put forth by WCA. Carpentry, Welding, CDL Truck driving, Heavy equipment Operation, Long Combination Vehicle, ATSSA, ACI Concrete, OSHA, Trenching & Excavation, and several Supervisory Training programs are available. Using the National Center for Construction Edcuation and Research Cirriculum (NCCER), anyone attending these classes will receive state of the art training. WCA also works together with the Workforce Development Council.
Partnering with National AGC
- As part of the Wyoming Contractors Association, you are represented on both a local and national level. WCA works directly with the National AGC to help provide information and services to our members.
- WCA is the leading advocate for the construction industry at the federal, state and local levels and is committed to supporting a positive image of the industry:
- Improve your business opportunities by expanding and improving public and private sector construction markets;
- Provide a strong voice on industry issues at a price that would be prohibitively expensive for individual companies;
